Sunday Brunch: 11.00 A.M. - 2.00 P.M.

Monthly (Thursday) Dinner Feature

This month's feature is a Smoked Tenderloin over red wine pepper sauce, topped with fried shallots and wild mushrooms.  The feature is served with your choice of one of Gumbo's many delicious sides.

The Monthly Feature is available every Thursday in the month of July.

Summer Drink Features

Summer time is the right time to enjoy one of Gumbo's featured drinks. Gumbo's is highlighting four new drinks made specially for the Summer.  We have a new twist on a classic drink with our Key Lime Martini or our Skinny Sangria.  If you are really looking for a refreshing treat, try our Raspberry Pinot Grigio Spritzer.  Finally, a must try, is our Strawberry Lime Moscato Punch.

Monthly Recipe

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp

Ingredients:

2 cups Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup crystal hot sauce

1 cup white wine 

1 table spoon minced garlic

1/4 cup sugar in the raw

1 tablespoon salt

juice of 1 lemon

4 tablespoon butter

1 pound of shrimp peeled and deveined 

Directions:  
Sauce Base

Mix Worcestershire, hot sauce, white wine, garlic,  sugar, salt, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl and set a side

Shrimp

Preheat a large skillet over med high heat for three minutes, add 2 tablespoons or butter and allow to brown slightly, add shrimp and cook for two minutes over high heat.  Add sauce base to the pan with the shrimp and allow to reduce till it coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and swirl in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, taste for seasoning and serve immediately with warm bread for sopping.
